A guide to successful European projects

Brussels, 08 August 2002

Researchers hoping to participate in EU projects may benefit from the seminar 'European project teams: going international', to be held in Brussels from 23 to 25 October.

People from different European countries have different ways of thinking and reacting, and when this is not recognised and understood, differences can lead to misunderstandings and confusion in a project, say the event organisers.

The seminar will present new approaches to teamwork and decision making as well as leadership and communication techniques, taking into account the different cultures within Europe.

The event will also discuss effective organisation for teams with participants in different countries and successful international communication in a project team context.
