A Big-Porkie

Students on the agriculture and food sciences degree course at Nottingham University had the bright idea of developing a BSE-free burger based on pork instead of beef. But when the local newspaper wanted to take a photo of their invention, they had to admit that their burger had not got off the drawing board. Well, that never put a journalist off - so someone was despatched to the nearest fast food restaurant and the picture was taken of a good old beefburger instead. In defence of the students' big porkie we note that most media food photos are made of inedible materials anyway.
