Wrexham Glyndwr University

Located in north Wales, Wrexham Glyndwr blends together its modern facilities and learning approaches within its historic setting. The university prides itself on its industry-led courses, links with employers, and its wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses, along with part-time courses and professional qualifications.

The main campus in Wrexham is located on the edge of town and contains the majority of student services, facilities and accommodation. There are over 9,000 students at the university, with around 1,500 studying for a postgraduate qualification.

There is an additional rural campus in Northop a short distance away that specialises in animal studies and biodiversity, as well as a cutting-edge research centre in St Asaph that focuses on optoelectronic technology.

The university has a generous amount of facilities available, which enhance the students learning experience.

Wrexham Glyndwr offers a range of foundation courses designed for students who haven’t quite met the entry requirements for their chosen course. This allows individuals to gain the necessary confidence and skills they need to progress into further study. Students spend one year studying the foundation degree or diploma and can then go onto studying at degree level.
