Aquinas said: " Impossibile est quod de eodam sit fides et scientia " ( De Ver , XIV), which I would interpret as meaning that those of us who believe in the revealed truth of the Most Noodley Church of Old Granny Radford (Letters, September 9) should do so without being allowed to call it a science.
