Gove is a 'batchelor' boy

七月 7, 2011

I shared the dismay of Tony Gatrell (Letters, 16 June) regarding the spelling of "Perfoming Arts" and "Carribean Studies" in the posters brandished by protesting London Metropolitan University students, and expected more from our University of Oxford-educated secretary of state for education.

But disappointingly, his latest paper - sporting the heroic title Training Our Next Generation of Outstanding Teachers - refers in its chapter on "Reform of training" to "Batchelor of Education" degrees. Oh, Michael!
