This consists of four sectional atlases of the brain rolled into one CD-Rom - one from a cadaver and three MRI series - all in three different planes. It's easy to use, with little practice required, and in addition to learning you can test yourself by removing/adding the labels and leader lines. The facility of sliding through the brain using the cursor makes it easy to understand three-dimensional relationships and to follow neuroanatomical features on their travels within the brain.

You can and should learn a lot about the anatomy of the human brain from this one. Don't be selfish and keep it to yourself - get your fellow students round to interact with the CD-Rom as well as each other. Don't leave it lying about, though, as the cadaveric series of brain images might upset the squeamish.

Who is it for? Anyone who needs to understand the 3D architecture of the brain.

Presentation - Easy to use; high-resolution images.

Would you recommend it? Yes, but get your medical school library to buy several copies.
