Global Business Management: A Cross-cultural Perspective

二月 28, 2008

Although it is apparently aimed at the same audience as Transnational Management by Bartlett et al (reviewed above), this text stands no comparison. The authors' statement on the first page that they "aim to substantiate that the process of globalisation is intensifying the level of interactions and interdependence between states and cultures, in which national boundaries are less important sometimes" did not entice me to explore further. When I did, and I found further opportunities for the authors to be more clear and concise.

Who is it for? Undergraduate and masters students who are doing modules on international business.

Presentation: Page after page of solid text.

Would you recommend it? No. It is too verbose.
