An Introduction to Quantum Computing. First Edition

十一月 23, 2007

An introduction to quantum computing. Some prior knowledge of linear algebra is assumed, including vector spaces and inner products.

Who is it for? Advanced undergraduate and beginning graduate students in computer, engineering, mathematical and physical sciences.

Presentation: Clearly laid out.

Would you recommend it? The liberal use of examples significantly adds to the readability. I would recommend it as an introductory text.

Chris Howls is senior lecturer in applied mathematics at Southampton University.
