About the Chemical & Biochemical Sciences Green Process Engineering (CBS) The Chemical & Biochemical Sciences Green Process Engineering Department (CBS) is a component of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P). The main objective of CBS is to set up a distinctive research-teaching program, of international level, to meet the research and teaching challenges of UM6P, on green and environmental chemistry applied to all aspects of chemical sciences: organic and inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, chemical biology, biochemical and thermal reactions. Research at CBS is organized around several major areas, which aim to answer challenging industrial questions, from complex chemical and biochemical reactions to scale-up and validation of process engineering. CBS projects aim at an in-depth understanding of the molecular mechanisms of all transformations to propose new original alternatives in terms of efficiency, environmental friendliness, and sustainability. Job Description CBS is seeking a dynamic and qualified individual to fill the position of Professor in Inorganic Chemistry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in contributing to the advancement of CBS department and UM6P's mission, particularly in terms of research excellence, teaching, and fostering innovation. Research: Conduct high-impact research in the field of inorganic chemistry with a focus on material design and characterization. The University of Calgary, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (UCVM) is pleased to announce the opening for up to two full-time academic positions (Teaching and Research stream) in Veterinary Anesthesiology. For candidates with an interest in research, UCVM has enviable access and existing collaborations with the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary. Depending on qualifications and career track expectations, the appointments will be made at the rank of Assistant Professor (tenure track) or Associate Professor (with tenure) in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The successful candidate will be appointed in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The anticipated start date is June 1, 2026, or a mutually agreed upon date. The positions require a DVM (or equivalent). Board certification (DACVAA and/or Dipl. ECVAA) is preferred, but board-eligible ACVAA or ECVAA residency-trained candidates, or a candidate holding a PhD in veterinary anesthesiology, will be considered. An additional graduate degree is considered an asset. The candidate must be eligible for licensure in the Province of Alberta. Appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor normally requires evidence or promise of original high-quality research and scholarship and future development as a scholar. UCVM's AVMA accredited DVM program provides a comprehensive general veterinary education to approximately 100 students per year.
