Yorkville University is a private university established in 2003 in New Brunswick, Canada. The university has campuses in Concord in Ontario and Vancouver in British Columbia. The Concord site is located at the former RCC Institute of Technology and is shared with the Toronto Film School. Yorkville University provides multiple programme start dates throughout the year, and the possibility to shorten a programme with approved transfer credits or year-round study. There are no forced breaks either so students can graduate faster if they want to. It also offers online versions of many of its degrees, as well as some that are purely online - like the master of arts in counseling or the master in education. Students can choose from a range of courses including in interior design, business administration, accounting, project management, supply chain management and energy management. The average class size across all courses is 20. Yorkville University also provides a series of academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, financial aids, distance learning opportunities and administrative services.

Clinical research in Mood Disorders The Faculty of Medicine and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust are collaborating in a clinical research study, led locally by Professor David Baldwin, investigating the effects of transcranial direct current stimulation in patients with depression. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong research and organisational skills to develop their expertise. Applications are invited from enthusiastic early-stage researchers to join the research team. The post involves undergoing training in certain psychopathological rating scales, providing study information and assessing potential study participants, monitoring participant progress during the study, entering data into on-line systems, assisting with study awareness-raising, and attendance at local and national research team meetings. The appointee joins an existing research team, working on this and other studies. They would ensure that the study is undertaken in accordance with Good Clinical Practice and other regulatory standards. About the University Psychiatry is part of the Faculty of Medicine and is established within one of the UK’s leading research-intensive Universities and a founding member of the prestigious Russell Group. The University has an international reputation for research, teaching and enterprise activities. The Faculty of Medicine has taken a leading role in delivering the University’s multi-disciplinary research strategy.  The job This is a part-time fixed appointment to 30 April 2028, available from April 2026.  The successful applicant will be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline and will have previous experience in working in academic or clinical settings.
