Swinburne University of Technology is seeking a Senior Lecturer in Nursing to join our expanding Department of Nursing at an exciting time of growth and renewal. With a strong focus on high-quality teaching, practice-based research and innovative course delivery, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of nursing research, education and clinical practice. Working within an agile department, school and University, you will contribute to the development and delivery of contemporary nursing programs using blended and flexible learning models, supporting student learning across coursework and clinical placement contexts. You will also play an active role in nursing research and scholarship, through publications, grants and the supervision of higher degree research students. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse academic who is passionate about nursing and health development nationally and internationally, innovative teaching, clinical engagement and collaborative research, and who is motivated by the opportunity to grow with a department that is building momentum, expanding its course offerings and strengthening its academic and industry profile.  This is a rare opportunity to influence the direction of a department on the rise - developing programs, partnerships and research that respond to the evolving needs of the health sector. About You To be successful in this role, you will bring demonstrated experience across the following key accountabilities: Demonstrated capacity to build research teams and partnerships and in practice research supervision to achieve high impact research outcomes. Demonstrated experience in tertiary teaching including a record of co-ordination, teaching and curriculum development and teaching in nurse education. Experience with online learning and teaching methods in nursing education including creation or use of leading edge/best practice delivery methods such as flexible delivery formats. Demonstrated clinical experience in nursing or health care. A high degree of organisational and administrative skills and capacity to contribute to management of course and program delivery. Demonstrated high standard of interpersonal and communication skills including resourcefulness, initiative, and the ability to meet tight deadlines, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
