Xi'an Jiaotong is a national key university under the direct jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor institution was founded in Shanghai in 1896 and was split into two institutions in 1956: Shanghai Jiao Tong and Xi'an Jiaotong universities. Xi'an Jiaotong was included in the first group of universities singled out for priority development under the country's seventh and eighth five-year plans. It was also included in the first group of universities to benefit from Project 211 and Project 985 status, and aims to become a world-class university. Xi'an Jiaotong offers programmes in nine areas including medicine, economics, management and philosophy. It includes 20 schools, eight undergraduate residential colleges, and eight affiliated teaching hospitals.

Working at the intersection of technology and business, this role acts as SNAIC’s front-facing dealmaker, translating market demand, ecosystem signals, and AI innovation into viable partnerships across areas such as Generative AI, Large Language Models, Computer Vision, Digital Twins, and Multimodal AI. Success in this role requires strong commercial instincts, the ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders, and the discipline to drive opportunities from early exploration through signed agreements and delivery. Key Responsibilities 1. Industry Engagement & Business Development Identify, qualify, and engage potential industry, government, and ecosystem partners for applied AI collaboration opportunities. Drive the deal process from initial discussion through to agreement. Manage active partnership accounts and track delivery milestones to ensure commitments, timelines, and outputs are met. 2. Marketing, Outreach & Positioning Contribute to industry events, workshops, showcases, and demos that strengthen SNAIC’s visibility and lead generation. Support development of partnership assets such as case studies, pitch decks, project proposals, and success stories. Work with internal teams to amplify SNAIC’s applied AI capabilities to targeted sectors and communities. 3. Data, Reporting & Pipeline Management Maintain an up-to-date CRM pipeline of leads, partners, proposals, and project statuses. Generate periodic dashboards and management reports on engagement performance, deal progress, and partnership outcomes. Ensure data accuracy and traceability across all stages of the partnership lifecycle. Job Requirement Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data/AI, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, innovation projects, or roles involving both technical and commercial stakeholders. Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ideally in a cross-functional environment. Working understanding of AI concepts, use cases, and industry trends, with interest in areas such as Generative AI, LLMs, Computer Vision, or Digital Twins. Exposure to NVIDIA’s AI ecosystem (e.g., Omniverse, CUDA, DGX, NGC) is a plus, but not required. Strong communication and relationship management skills, able to engage industry partners and internal stakeholders confidently. Good writing and presentation abilities for proposals, pitch decks, and briefing materials. Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple partnership pipelines, timelines, and reporting needs. Comfortable using CRM tools, dashboards, or project tracking systems. Key Competencies Understanding of AI and emerging technologies. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to liaise confidently with both engineers and executives.
