The School of Humanities at Macquarie University is seeking to employ a Lecturer to support the research program associated with the fellowship and to cover his teaching for four years. The role follows a 60 to 40 research and teaching split. The role The position holder will contribute to research and teaching within the discipline of Philosophy in the School of Humanities. The research duties include data collection, data analysis, agent based modelling of social epistemic networks, and the writing of research articles that form part of the fellowship program. The teaching duties involve co-teaching in discipline units. Likely areas of contribution include epistemology, philosophy of language, political philosophy, critical thinking, and ethics. The role calls for a candidate who is versatile and adaptable. Comprehensive characterization of flavor compounds using state-of-the-art analytical chemical methods (e.g., LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, HRMS, metabolomics approaches and sensory tests). Bioinformatic analysis and integration of multi-omics datasets (transcriptomics, metabolomics) including path and network analysis.
