William Jewell offers majors in a wide variety of subjects. In addition, the college has an Oxbridge Honors programme in history, history of ideas, institutions and policy, literature and theory, music and molecular biology. This gives students the opportunity to study in Oxford or Cambridge for one year.
The student to faculty ratio is 10 to one and 65 per cent of classes have fewer than 20 students.
Student athletes compete in 20 varsity sports, including baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field and volleyball. These sports compete at the NCAA Division II level in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
William Jewell’s campus combines urban and rural landscapes, and is not far from Kansas City, which offers cultural activities, a busy night life and internship and job opportunities.

About the Role The Associate Professor will contribute to the teaching, research, and academic leadership of the Department of Aerospace Engineering and the School of Engineering. The role involves delivering high-quality programs, leading innovative research aligned with the University's priorities, securing external funding, and producing impactful scholarly outputs. The successful candidate will also build strong collaborations within the University and with external partners, while embedding their research expertise into the School's activities and potentially contributing to program management.
