About Wilkes University

Founded in 1933, Wilkes University is a private institution of higher education situated in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, US.

Its courses are organised into the college of arts, humanities and social sciences, college of science and engineering, The Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership, the school of education, The Passan School of Nursing, The Nesbitt School of Pharmacy and the University College.

Wilkes offers 41 undergraduate major programmes and the student to faculty ratio is 15 to one.

Beyond academia, there are 70 student organisations and clubs such as the guitar club, ultimate frisbee club, multicultural student coalition, air waste management association, and the Wilkes University anime club among others.
