Founded in 1933, Wilkes University is a private institution of higher education situated in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, US.

Its courses are organised into the college of arts, humanities and social sciences, college of science and engineering, The Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership, the school of education, The Passan School of Nursing, The Nesbitt School of Pharmacy and the University College.
