The Position We are seeking distinguished scholars with proven record of excellence in research, teaching, knowledge exchange, along with a strong commitment and managerial competence to support the Faculty’s expanding research portfolio and clinical and teaching activities. The appointees are expected to play a key role in leading the respective Department in achieving the highest standard of quality in all aspects of its teaching and learning, research and scholarship, and professional engagement programmes, fostering academic collaboration within and outside the Faculty/University, and pursuing new strategic directions for the further development of the Department. What We Offer The successful candidates should possess the stature of a Full Professor at a research-intensive institution. Appointment as Tenure-track Clinical Professor and Chairperson of the respective Department will be made, to commence as soon as possible, on a five-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. Exceptionally outstanding candidates may be considered for appointment with the Chair Professor title and/or on tenure terms. Re-appointment to the headship will be subject to the University's established procedures. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
