Located in the Kut area of Iraqi city, Wasit, Wasit University was established in 2003 by bringing together the existing colleges of Al Qadisiyah University.
The university offers programmes across: medicine, dentistry, engineering, science, human sciences, pure sciences, agriculture, administration and economics, computer and information technology, fine arts, basic education, law, literature, physical education and veterinary medicine.
Across its range of colleges and departments, Wasit University offers bachelor’s, high diplomas, master’s, PhD certificates, and post-doctorate degrees to prospective and continuing students.
