Urdaneta City University is a public university in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan, Philippines. It was established in 1966 as Urdaneta Community College and became a city university in 2006.
It is based in an urban campus in northern Luzon and serves around 12,500 students. It attracts students from Pangasinan and neighbouring provinces and has developed from a small community college into a recognised local university.
The university offers programmes in education, nursing, midwifery, commerce and accountancy, computer studies and graduate education. 
Urdaneta City University was founded by Dr Pedro T. Orata with support from local government leaders. It initially focused on short term and practical courses designed to support employment and skills development, before expanding into full degree programmes and graduate study.
The campus includes academic buildings, lecture halls, laboratories, a university gymnasium and administrative facilities.

The Role and the Department

Durham University has an ambitious strategy that will build on our world-leading research, education, and wider student experience. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to deliver major strategic projects.

The Strategy Delivery Unit is focused on co-ordinating and facilitating the implementation of the University's ambitious strategic plans. There are three teams within the unit covering the activities of portfolio management, change and project delivery and continuous improvement. The role will sit in the Change and Projects team but will deliver projects across the University.

The purpose of the role is to manage the delivery of projects within assigned parameters including scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resource.

The role will be required to:


	Lead the planning and implementation of projects
	Collect and analyse stakeholder feedback to help define needs and requirements and the design of key deliverables
	Oversee and manage project scope, tasks, deliverables, and timelines
	Identify and manage project dependencies and the critical path
	Matrix manage staff teams
	Facilitate the delivery of benefits


The successful candidate will be an experienced project manager with a good understanding of project and change methodologies and techniques. They will be able to build trusted relationships with teams across the university, will be a good communicator, and will be tenacious and pragmatic. They will have experience of delivering change in complex environments, plus, they will be excited about - and motivated by - Durham University's ambition and the opportunity to play a key part in making it happen.

This is a hybrid role with a minimum expectation of two office-based days each week. Candidates should be willing and able to increase their office attendance, up to five days per week when required by business needs.

This is a fixed term role for 2 years.

The Safer Communities Case Officer plays a vital role in supporting a safe, respectful and inclusive university community. This position provides trauma informed, person centred support to students, staff, former students, former staff members, and visitors who are impacted by gender based violence, sexual harm, domestic and family violence, bullying and harassment, and issues relating to modern slavery.

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Safer Communities Team Lead, you will:


	provide trauma informed case management and support to individuals who disclose experiences of harm
	conduct risk assessments and develop safety, wellbeing and support plans
	offer advice and guidance on reporting options, support pathways and University processes
	facilitate referrals to appropriate internal services and external specialist agencies
	work within relevant legislative, policy and safeguarding frameworks using a stepped care approach
	liaise and collaborate with University colleagues and external providers, including health, mental health, statutory and community services
	contribute to preventative education initiatives, awareness raising activities, and promotion of the Safer Communities Office
	maintain accurate, confidential records and contribute to service improvement and reporting as required.


About you

You are a supportive and capable professional with experience working with people affected by trauma and complex wellbeing or safety concerns. You bring sound judgement, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively in sensitive and complex situations. You will have:


	demonstrated experience providing trauma informed support or case management
	strong understanding of gender based violence, sexual harm, domestic and family violence, and related issues
	experience conducting risk assessments and safety planning
	excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with diverse communities
	knowledge of relevant legislation, ethical practice, and confidentiality requirements
	ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external service providers
	relevant qualifications in social work, psychology, counselling, community services or a related field (or equivalent experience).
