The Position We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Project Officer to coordinate the planning, delivery, and administration of our Digital Language Hubs for Community Language Schools (CLS). Working under the general direction of the Deputy Director of Languages and in consultation with an academic steering committee, you will play a pivotal role in driving project timelines, managing digital resource gathering, and monitoring progress for stakeholder reporting. This dynamic position involves end-to-end logistics for both online and in-person professional development workshops, handling vital financial administration (such as budget tracking and invoicing), and managing data collection to evaluate project success. You will serve as a key point of contact, collaborating closely with internal university teams, language academics, Community Language Schools, and external sector partners to support vital consultation and community engagement activities. Our Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate is an accomplished administrator with demonstrated experience in project coordination and program delivery within a complex organizational environment. You possess strong organizational and planning skills, an exceptional eye for detail, and the proven ability to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines. Exceptional communication skills are a must, as you will draft reports, create promotional materials, and build positive, effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders—from education providers and community groups to internal academic teams. You are adept at managing event logistics, tracking budgets, and maintaining precise records. High proficiency in the MS Office suite is required, and experience with online learning management systems, website maintenance, or digital resource development will make you stand out. Previous experience with, or demonstrated understanding of, the Community Language School sector will be highly regarded.
