Applicants should possess: (i) a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in a related discipline; (ii) evidence of international recognition and a strong record of scholarship with a demonstrated ability to work across disciplines towards new research initiatives; (iii) a strong commitment to engaging students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; and (iv) a strong track record of high-quality research as indicated by publication record and external grants. We are seeking academic leaders and scholars whose work advance the understanding of the biological mechanisms underlying mental disorders and neuropsychiatric diseases. We welcome applicants from psychiatry and related fields, in particular genomics, epigenetics, neurobiology, biostatistics and big data analytics. Applicants who adopt multidisciplinary approaches to address key challenges in psychiatry and neuroscience, and with research of high translational potential are particularly encouraged to apply.
