About you We are looking for an confident individual with an interest in embedding digital innovation to teaching and research. You will have an excellent understanding of the latest challenges and opportunities around digital innovation (including AI), digitisation and digital shift of resources in the academic library context. You will have experience of multi-tasking while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in a busy service. As part of this role, you will delivery of training and advising on copyright matters, as required. There is an expectation that the post holder will work some days on campus and that they will be able to support and train colleagues as needed. This appointment at SAOIV Grade will report the Head of Enterprise Solutions within IT Services. We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced and committed professional to manage IT Services’ implementation, administration, and optimization of Business Intelligence (BI) and CRM systems, ensuring platforms align with University objectives for user (staff, student & stakeholder) engagement, operational efficiency, governance, security, and data driven decision making. The role will involve managing a cross functional BI/CRM Unit which is set to expand from 2 people currently, growing to 6/7 people inclusive of manager (including CRM specialists, senior data analyst, integration engineer). The IT Business Intelligence Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and expanding the BI/CRM team into a high-performing unit, fostering capability development, implementing best practices, and building a collaborative culture to support the University’s growing data and analytics needs.
