Job Description Key Duties: Independent and team scientific work in the field of parasitology Participation in the preparation and implementation of research projects and publications Collection and analysis of biological samples using modern laboratory methods Analysis of biological data Independent presentation of research results at conferences and other professional meetings Participation in domestic and international business trips as instructed by the director of the institute Cooperation with domestic and international partners Active guidance of students and provision of professional teaching Skills and Qualifications The applicant must have: PhD Degree in biology or a related field Excellent knowledge of the Czech language in written and oral communication, including the ability to deliver lectures and conduct teaching in the Czech language Experience with research activities in the field of parasite biology or host-parasite interactions Knowledge of modern molecular biology methods (PCR, sequencing, etc.) Documented international research experience gained during long-term and short-term stays at prestigious foreign institutions Active involvement in international scientific cooperation and joint projects with prominent foreign partners Ability to work independently and think analytically Good knowledge of English (writing technical texts, team communication) Excellent communication and presentation skills for effective sharing of scientific results, team leadership, and interaction with partners Ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members, including providing feedback and supporting professional growth Organizational skills and a responsible approach to task completion Informal inquiries about the position can be sent to Assoc.
