You will: undertake assessment and moderation of undergraduate and postgraduate students; undertake unit/course coordination and related responsibilities; and develop, course materials and resources in Nursing About you You will work independently in the conduct of teaching and scholarship activities and be an active contributor to administrative functions within the institute. Qualifications: A MSc or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, System Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven teaching experience at the tertiary level. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment. Preferred Qualifications: Industry experience in microelectronics, system engineering, digital supply chain, marine automation systems or advanced manufacturing. Job Description DEPARTMENT OF BIOLOGY Research Assistant Professor (25260665) We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our research team as a Research Assistant Professor in Biomass Conversion, focusing on the area of biomass valorisation via catalysis/biocatalysis. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will work closely with our interdisciplinary team of researchers to develop new methodologies for converting biomass into high-value chemicals and fuels using catalytic and biocatalytic processes. Requirements: A Ph.D. in Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Biochemistry or related fields; Experience in catalytic and/or biocatalytic reactions for biomass conversion; Knowledge of analytical techniques used for evaluating catalytic and biocatalytic activity; Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and Track record of scientific productivity, including peer-reviewed publications. This is a full-time position with the initial appointment of 2 years. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
