About You You are an internationally recognised academic leader with a distinguished record of research excellence, teaching leadership, and impactful engagement with industry and external stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: A PhD or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline A sustained and distinguished track record of high-quality research outputs and competitive grant success (Category 1 or equivalent) Significant experience leading curriculum development, teaching programs, and educational innovation at tertiary level A strong record of HDR supervision and successful student completions at doctoral level Demonstrated leadership in building and sustaining research collaborations with national and international partners, including industry engagement Proven ability to provide academic leadership and mentorship to researchers and academic teams This position is open to international candidates and relocation and visa support is available. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of key student casework processes, including Academic Appeals, Student Complaints, Student Discipline, and Fitness to Practise. The role: As an Administrative Officer, you will contribute to the delivery of high‑quality administrative services across our casework functions. Profound knowledge of lipid structures and fragmentation rules. Solid understanding of the relevant concepts in mass spectrometry-based lipidomics and metabolomics. Enthusiasm for learning and applying new analytical methodologies. Broad experience in extraction techniques. Understanding of the statistical principles behind current best practices in the field. Strong experience using low-level programming languages such as R and Python. Strong communication, data presentation, and visualization skills. Therefore, English is required, and German is an advantage. Ability to work independently and collaboratively and simultaneous handling of several fast-paced projects.
