Culture of innovation
We believe innovation is a way of thinking and that everyone has the potential to change things, big or small, for the better. We recently launched the Michael Crouch Innovation Centre. The first for any Australian university, the MCIC is where students from all faculties can design, experiment and build their ideas with guidance from visionaries and corporate partners. The UNSW Innovations team is on hand to assist students turn their ideas into commercial reality through their 260 partnerships with commercial companies.
We are connected to over 200 partner universities in 39 countries. We are a member of the Group of Eight (Go8) in Australia, the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU), Universitas 21 (U21), and the Global Alliance of Technological Universities (GlobalTech) where we were the only Australian university selected to join. This network contributes to a steady flow of students, researchers and academics on campus, creating a truly global learning environment.
