Job Description SCHOOL OF CREATIVE ARTS Part-time Lecturer (25260005) The School of Creative Arts (SCA), comprised of three well-established academic units: the Academy of Film, the Academy of Music, and the Academy of Visual Arts. Established on July 1, 2022, SCA is dedicated to nurturing future-ready talents for Hong Kong and beyond, while making a significant impact on society through innovative research and transdisciplinary studies. The School is currently seeking a Part-time Lecturer to teach the course(s) at undergraduate level in the following areas:  Entertainment / Media / Creative industries; and Creative entrepreneurship. The ideal candidate should hold a Master’s degree or above in related disciplines, with 3 years of experience in entertainment industries with aspects of content development, budgeting, licensing, administration, marketing, or audience engagement, preferably with teaching experience at the university level. A good command of English and Chinese, excellent communication skills, and a strong sense of responsibility are required. Duties may also include supervision of students, marking of examination papers, and any other work as assigned by the Programme Director and the Dean of School. The initial appointment will be offered on a part-time basis commencing August 2025. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review and course availability. About the Job As Head of Data Governance & Quality, you’ll provide leadership for the University’s Data Governance and Quality agenda, ensuring that governance structures, ownership models and quality standards are clearly defined, embedded, and continuously improved. Working across academic and professional services areas, you’ll shape and oversee the institutional framework, providing senior oversight and assurance that data used for decision-making, reporting, and compliance is trusted, well-managed, and fit for purpose. You’re confident working with a wide range of stakeholders to investigate and resolve data quality issues and you can explain standards and expectations clearly to non-technical colleagues. You’re practical and solutions-focused, organised and methodical, and comfortable producing data quality / exception reporting (e.g., in Power BI) and using tools such as SQL to validate and interrogate data. Location: City Campus View Position Description View Candidate Brochure About the Role The Lecturer in Nursing will inspire and enhance the student experience with a focus on Nursing topics, especially clinical skills training and/or supervision of students undertaking work integrated learning. This role requires the creation, coordination and conducting of inspiring teaching and undertaking the role of Topic Coordinator when required. It also involves making an independent contribution to the review, renewal, development and design of curricula and courses that are attractive to existing and new cohorts of students.
