Position Details Three-year contract I Full Time Academic Level B | $115,871 to $137,122 pa plus 17% superannuation View Position Description Location: Bedford Park / Kaurna Country About the Role The Lecturer in Research Training is a university-wide role within the Flinders University Research Training Hub, focused on delivering innovative, high-quality researcher education across career stages, from Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students, through to senior researchers. This position designs and delivers inclusive, flexible research training that builds capability, strengthens research practice, and supports successful HDR pathways for diverse cohorts, including industry professionals, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, and international students. Working at the intersection of learning design, digital education and researcher development, you will contribute to research training that is practical, future-focused and responsive to evolving research and workforce needs. In this position, you will: Design, deliver and continuously improve innovative researcher training programs across HDR pathways and research career stages Develop engaging, technology-enhanced learning experiences using contemporary online and blended delivery approaches Create and coordinate postgraduate research training topics and pathways that support diverse and non-traditional HDR cohorts Provide mentoring, guidance and capability development support to HDR students, researchers and external stakeholders Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of research training programs Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen researcher development and HDR engagement About You You are an experienced and innovative tertiary educator with a strong background in learning design, and research training or postgraduate education. You are motivated by creating high-quality learning experiences that support researcher success. You demonstrate: A PhD or EdD (or equivalent doctoral qualification) Significant experience in tertiary teaching, researcher development or postgraduate education, with evidence of teaching excellence Ability to design and deliver innovative curricula in online, blended and flexible learning environments Strong understanding of HDR pathways, curriculum design and academic quality assurance processes This position is open to candidates with Australian Work Rights. Position Summary UCBD invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Business and Marketing. The successful candidate will teach relevant business and marketing courses along with leading the business and marketing streams offered under different partner universities. Collaborate with industry partners and UCBD’s academic teams.  Qualifications and Experience Essential: PhD in Marketing, Business, or related field. Master’s and or Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject. At least 5-7 years of teaching experience (post PhD or combined) in relevant fields. Demonstrated professional expertise and teaching experience in the discipline and/or subject areas being taught at university level. Understanding of the principles of effective assessment design, using formative assessment to improve student performance, and familiarity with international summative assessment standards. Capacity to establish a rapport with students, and the effective communication and interpersonal skills need to engage with students, parents, colleagues and other stakeholders. Familiarity with academic administration through serving on academic committees, working as a programme or subject leader, etc. Desirable Evidence of publications including academic and industry publications and conference presentations. A positive personal work ethic, solid organizational and time management skills, the capacity to tackle multiple responsibilities, prioritize important tasks, and deliver on time. Compensation and Benefits Package Salary Range: USD 3,000–3,500 (net). Negotiable for exceptionally qualified candidates.  Accommodation: Fully furnished, institution-designated apartment located near the campus. Transportation: Pick and drop service provided. Description The Mathematics Program in the Science Division, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a post-doctoral associate to work on one or more of the following topics: Mathematical Physics, Spectral Theory, Quantum Chaos, Large Graphs and Quantum Walks. Related areas such as Quantum Information can also be considered. This position is offered through the research funds of Mostafa Sabri. The Mathematics Program at NYUAD is quickly expanding, the candidate will find many international experts and postdocs with whom to interact. Weekly seminars are in place across the various research areas represented at NYUAD. The successful applicant will also receive a mobility credit to participate in conferences. Applicants must have a PhD in Mathematics, with a strong background in one of the advertised topics, as well as an excellent academic record. Candidates with PhDs in Physics or Computer Science may also be considered if they willing to collaborate with mathematicians on these topics. For consideration, applicants need to submit a cover letter, a curriculum vitae with a full publication list, a research statement, a transcript, and at least two letters of reference, all in PDF format. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed twice. In the first interview, the candidate will give a talk summarizing earlier research. The second interview will be to discuss a research project in collaboration with Mostafa Sabri around the aforementioned topics. Candidates are advised to reflect upon such collaborations and include them in the research statement before applying. The duration of the postdoc is for 2 years, with a probation period of 6 months.
