The Department of Economics of the Faculty of Social Sciences is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Economics. The Department of Economics is a growing academic unit with excellent prospects whose goal is to excel in learning and research in economics. The department currently offers a wide range of courses leading to B.Soc.Sc, M.Soc.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees. Faculty members actively engage in research with particular focus on econometrics, macroeconomics, microeconomic theory, experimental economics, international economics, public economics, and economic growth. The Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Brain Sciences (IAIBS), currently operating as the Institute of Collaborative Innovation and scheduled for formal establishment in August 2026, invites applications for the position of Full/Associate/Assistant Professor in Human Computer Interaction. IAIBS aims to become an internationally leading interdisciplinary research institute by advancing deep integration and innovation of artificial intelligence and brain sciences. The Department of Portuguese is an established and lively scholarly community. The Department offers an undergraduate degree in Portuguese Studies concentrating on Portuguese with selected courses in Language, Linguistics, Literature, Culture, History and Translation.
