Work that matters In this role, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to cutting-edge cancer immunology research, contributing to projects that explore immune system responses to cancer and developing new immunotherapies for preclinical testing. Reporting to the Postdoctoral Fellow in the Allergy and Cancer Immunology Laboratory, your role will involve both laboratory work and direct clinical interactions, including obtaining patient consent and collaborating with clinicians. You will perform experiments using high-parameter flow cytometry, cell culture, and molecular biology techniques, with some work involving animals. The team The Centre for Cancer Biology (CCB) is an alliance between Adelaide University and CALHN and is co-located with other cancer-focussed researchers within a brand-new purpose-built building named the Cancer Research Institute (CRI). The CCB studies the fundamental causes of cancer in order to find new ways to prevent and treat the disease and is a recognised hub for innovative science leading to breakthrough therapies. The successful applicant will Performing interdisciplinary research in quantum systems within the projects of the center and in alignment with its goals, in collaboration and coordination with the PI and/or the Co-PIs, potentially leading to quality publications.
