The University of East Anglia (UEA) is an internationally regarded public research institution, located on the outskirts of Norwich, offering a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses spanning a wide variety of subject areas. UEA is a research-oriented university and is home to Norwich Research Park, one of the largest research communities in Europe, specialising in work relating to the environment, health and plant sciences.

The university campus is situated within 320 acres of beautifully landscaped parkland. It contains all the resources and amenities students need for academic success and personal development, within convenient walking distance of their accommodation. The campus includes cafés, coffee shops, bars, a supermarket, a student information zone, a post office and a launderette, as well as regular pop-up markets with anything from baked goods to plants, and much more.

UEA is a great place to study for sports enthusiasts, and the campus hosts a massive array of world-class training and performance facilities, including an Olympic sized swimming pool and athletics track, indoor and outdoor multi-purpose sports courts and pitches. There are many competitive and recreational sports teams, as well as over 200 special interest societies and clubs to join.

The university has enjoyed consistent success in national and international league tables and was ranked in UK Top 25 (Complete University Guide 2025).

Students live and study within 15 minutes of the city of Norwich, a historically rich city with a thriving contemporary scene, offering students the best of both worlds. Cambridge is one hour away, while London is only two hours by train.

UEA has received positive feedback from student reviewers. Many mentioned how much they enjoyed their time at the university, with a number planning to continue at UEA with their postgraduate studies.
