The University of Dubrovnik in Dubrovnik, Croatia, was established in 2003 in response to the need for an institution of higher learning in the Dubrovnik area. 

The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programmes across four faculties and two departments.

Degrees offered at the university cover various fields, including economics, business, maritime affairs, electrical engineering, computing, environmental sciences, arts, restoration, media and public relations, humanities, and nursing.

Most of these degrees are offered in English and Croatian.

The university also has specialised research institutions such as the Institute for Marine and Coastal Research and the Institute for Mediterranean Plants.

Through partnerships with many institutions around the world, students and faculty are provided with opportunities for study, research, and collaboration. 

The University of Dubrovnik is a member of "The European University of islands, ports and coastal territories" Alliance, the European Association for International Education (EAIE), the European University Association (EUA) and actively takes part in various international exchange programmes for students. 

The University of Dubrovnik is committed to promoting the economic, social, and cultural development of the Dubrovnik region through community engagement. To achieve this the university offers courses that focus on community topics such as urban development, community health and social justice. 

The campus has three libraries, lecture halls and classrooms, and provides students with a wide range of sports and recreational activities, as well as free access to a fully equipped gym in the student dormitory.

The university also supplies counselling and a student union offering a range of societies for local and international students to enjoy.
