The University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver) comprises two of the four campuses of the University of Colorado state system: the main campus in downtown Denver and the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora. CU Denver has eight schools and colleges offering over 100 academic programmes. Its academic divisions are the College of Arts and Media, the College of Architecture and Planning, the School of Education and Human Development, the Business School, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the College of Engineering and Applied Science, the School of Public Affairs and the Graduate School. The Anschutz campus has six schools and colleges covering the health professions: medicine, dental medicine, nursing, public health, pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences, and its own graduate school. CU Denver has the largest student veteran organisation in Colorado. It helps its graduate veterans transition from university to the world of work through its Boots to Suits programme. The Denver campus provides excellent access to internship and employment opportunities with its location near the city’s bustling downtown district. It’s just as easy to escape into the wilderness of the Rocky Mountains for a weekend of hiking, climbing, skiing and camping. Anschutz Medical Campus features two hospitals and 60 research institutions on its 230 acre campus. The world’s first liver transplant was carried out in Anschutz, as well as pioneering research into the use of human cell cloning to study genetics and cancer. Medical students can benefit from access to these leading research centres and close contact with the 1.7 million patients who pass through the campus annually.

The Role The University of Surrey’s School of Psychology invites applications for several Lecturer or Senior Lecturer positions from outstanding academics with the ambition to contribute to a dynamic, research-intensive, and collaborative academic environment. Successful candidates will join a flourishing School comprising over 100 academics and demonstrating excellence in research, teaching, and innovation. We welcome applications from candidates with emerging or established international research reputations, supported by strong publications and grant success (or a strong potential based on the career stage), in any area of psychology. About the area The School of Biological Sciences is a large and multidisciplinary team of more than 100 high-calibre academic and professional staff delivering world-class education and research programs to approximately 1000 undergraduate and postgraduate students. Job Description LIFE SCIENCE IMAGING CENTER Research Assistant (25260649) The research assistant is expected to contribute/support cognitive neuroscience research on interdisciplinary projects, duties include literature review, data collection, data analysis and drafting manuscript. The appointee is expected to work with researchers at Life Science Imaging Center (LSIC). LSIC is a central research facility (https://lsic.hkbu.edu.hk/) built to support and promote cutting-edge neurocognitive studies across disciplines at HKBU. LSIC is equipped with a high-performance 3T Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) system that enables researchers to explore the structure and function of human brain. A high-performing computing server has been set up to support MRI data analysis.  Responsibilities: Manage MRI slot booking and the subject booking system, do data preprocessing, help with task programming, and manage devices (EEG/TMS/biopac/eyetracking/fNIRS); Help with administrative duties, such as organising workshops, inviting speakers, reimbursement; and Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in sciences or other related disciplines (e.g., Psychology, neuroscience);  Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills; Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (good command of Cantonese is preferred); and Experience with some neuroscience-related equipment (EEG/TMS/biopac/eyetracking/fNIRS) is preferable.
