University College TATI – formerly known as TATI University College and Terengganu Advanced Technical Institute – first opened its doors to students in 1994.

Specialising in technology and engineering, its degrees come under two faculties: computer, media and tech management, and engineering technology. A department of foundation studies fast-tracks promising students on to University College TATI degree courses.

UC TATI publishes the International Journal of Synergy in Engineering and Technology. It also organises workshops, symposia and international student exchanges.

There is on-campus accommodation, as well as a cafeteria, gym and learning space. UC TATI sports include an award-winning petanque team.

This role will support our existing major in neuroscience to prepare our Health Science students for future-focused careers in the health sector across various fields. The position will work in collaboration with the Course Director, Department Chair and academic colleagues across the School of Health Sciences to deliver an advanced teaching program. In this role, you will undertake high-quality teaching and research in one or more areas within the neuroscience discipline. You will have experience in teaching and will contribute to the delivery and development of undergraduate coursework. Demonstrated ability to attract/obtain external research funding through external grants and/or industry collaboration. Professional skills such as academic leadership, resourcefulness, initiative, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment. An established track record in leading teaching and research within the neuroscience discipline is preferred.  Qualifications A doctoral qualification in an area of Biomedical science, Neuroscience, or related disciplines. University of Calgary The University of Calgary, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (UCVM) invites applications for two (2) full-time academic positions (Teaching-focused stream) Veterinary Anatomy. The appointments will be made at the rank of Assistant Professor (Teaching) (tenure-track) in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The anticipated start date is 1 July 2026, or a mutually agreed-upon date. Qualifications and requirements Applicants must hold a DVM (or equivalent) or a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline. The successful candidates will contribute to laboratory-based and didactic teaching in veterinary anatomy and may contribute to other teaching activities in the DVM programme as required. Experience teaching large undergraduate cohorts in a laboratory setting is expected, and candidates should provide evidence of effectiveness in this context. Expertise in the comparative anatomy of common domestic species is required. UCVM's anatomy instruction is supported by a team of technicians and a fully equipped laboratory capable of producing teaching specimens using a variety of preservation techniques including large format plastination Experience in course leadership, development and management is an asset, and experience in supervising technical staff activities and creating teaching specimens is highly desirable. Appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor (Teaching) (tenure-track) requires evidence or promise of teaching effectiveness or competency in teaching and learning, an awareness of how to apply scholarly approaches to teaching and learning practices, participation in reflective practice, and professional learning activities related to teaching and learning. Engagement in the research and scholarship required to maintain currency in pedagogy is required. UCVM employs a Distributed Veterinary Teaching Hospital model. Clinical practice opportunities may be possible for qualified DVM candidates. Guidance and support will be given in establishing relationships with local clinics, based on desires and opportunities available. UCVM's AVMA accredited DVM program provides a comprehensive general veterinary education to approximately 100 students per year.
