WJYSIS positions at the fusion of excellence of interdisciplinary research and education. WJYSIS is looking for experienced Assistant Professors of Teaching who will (i) teach multiple subjects in Master of Liberal Sciences (MLS), focusing on programming, artificial intelligence & Arts, digital marketing and new media, digital media technologies, etc., (ii) work on the promotions and admissions as well as the operations for MLS, (iii) serve as the coordinator of the Applied Arts in TechMedia concentration, and (iv) contribute to other administrative duties as required by the supervisors. General Requirements Candidates should have (i) a doctoral degree in media, arts, data science, computer science, business, information systems, artificial intelligence, or other relevant areas; (ii) a minimum of 3 years’ experience in teaching relevant courses and relevant programme administrative experience; and (iii) good command of English and Chinese (including Mandarin). Candidates who possess a strong academic background but have less teaching experience, or those with lower qualifications but substantial teaching experience, will also be considered. Research within the Department of Physics seeks to explore and explain fundamental aspects of the world we live in, from the smallest subatomic particles to the Universe as a whole. The department aims to expand its research in practical applications that drive technological progress and tackle global challenges. such as quantum technologies, advanced imaging, and innovations in materials science. The department is involved in the delivery of undergraduate physics and mathematics modules at all levels, as well as the PhD programme.
