We are seeking outstanding interdisciplinary scholars with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI), digital health, medical data science, computational medicine, and bioinformatics with capability in developing innovative research, teaching, and technology transfer programmes that bridge AI and medicine/healthcare. The appointees will be jointly hosted in a relevant School/Department within HKUMed and the School of Computing and Data Science. Applicants should possess: (i) a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in a related discipline; (ii) evidence of regional/international recognition and a strong record of scholarship with a demonstrated ability to work across disciplines towards new research initiatives; (iii) a strong commitment to engaging students in inquiry-based learning at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; and (iv) a strong track record of high-quality research as indicated by publication records and external grants.
