Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta was founded by Mr. H. Probosutedjo (Chairman of Menara Bhakti Foundation / Founder of Mercu Buana University), on October 22, 1985, beginning with just 118 students. In the academic year of 2014 – 2015 the university welcomed 25,000 active students on 23 programs. 2 Diploma programs, 16 undergraduate programs and 8 post graduate programs. All courses have been accredited by the National Accreditation Board of the Republic of Indonesia. In 2016, Universitas Mercu Buana have been following institution accreditation and obtained an “A” accreditation with the highest score in Indonesia by the National Accreditation Board of the Republic of Indonesia.

Description

Macau University of Science and Technology established school of pharmacy at year 2016. It is the only educational institution which can offer bachelor’s degree in pharmacy with authorization from Macau SAR. Our faculty is dedicate to train clinical pharmacists and pharmaceutical professionals which can provide better service for Macau residents, promoting rational clinical drug use and to improve the drugs management level in hospital, high-end medical research as well as improving the development of pharmaceutical industry.

Department: Macau Institute of Space Technology and Application (M.I.S.T.A.)

Description

The Macau Institute of Space Technology and Application (M.I.S.T.A.) was established on September 1, 2023. It is a new platform in the field of Macau aerospace science and technology established by the Macau University of Science and Technology Foundation. The institute will focus on the scientific research and application of Macao satellites as well as scientific research and application work in the field of aerospace science and technology. The institute will closely focus on the development principle of "facing the world's technological frontiers, facing the main economic battlefield, and facing major national needs" and integrate Macau's aerospace science and technology capabilities into the overall situation of national aerospace science and technology innovation and development.

Due to scientific research needs, the institute is currently looking to expand and strengthen its scientific and applied research fields to help Macao create a major new platform for aerospace science and technology and enhance Macao’s influence in the domestic and international science and technology circles.

Deliver high-quality teaching and research in human anatomy or physiology at a leading Medical Sciences discipline.

The Opportunity

You will contribute to teaching, research and academic leadership within the Medical Sciences discipline group. You will design and deliver engaging teaching into the Bachelor of Medical Sciences, using a range of pedagogical approaches and learning environments to support undergraduate and postgraduate students. This includes curriculum development, assessment design and subject coordination with a focus on quality assurance and continuous improvement.

You will support student success through academic guidance, inclusive teaching practices and initiatives that enhance learning outcomes and employability. The discipline group undertakes research across areas including neurodegeneration, infectious diseases, cancer, drug discovery, medicinal chemistry, medical microbiology and pain.
