Join the University of Southampton Auditory Implant Service (USAIS) as a Rehabilitationist and make a meaningful impact in the lives of cochlear implant and auditory implant users. You will have a unique opportunity to further your career by using your clinical skills within a University setting allowing you to access up-to-date research in this field.  Speech and Language Therapists and Hearing Therapists are encouraged to apply for this post. This is a part-time permanent post (28 hours/week). As a Rehabilitationist, you will play a vital role in helping patients adapt to and optimise their auditory implants. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you’ll provide specialist rehabilitation, guiding patients through their hearing journey. Your key responsibilities will include: Delivering tailored rehabilitation programmes for cochlear and bone conduction implant recipients Assessing patient progress and adjusting therapy strategies accordingly Providing education and support to patients, families, and caregivers Collaborating with audiologists, rehabilitationists, and other professionals to enhance outcomes Contributing to research and teaching opportunities within the university setting  What We’re Looking For Experience in rehabilitation for individuals with auditory implants or hearing loss (training will also be provided) HCPC or RCSLT or equivalent professional registration Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team Working at the University of Southampton: Check out the staff benefits and why you should join us at The University of Southampton! Job Purpose As a University of Applied Learning, SIT works closely with industry in our research pursuits. Work independently, as well as within a team, to ensure high-quality delivery.  Job Requirements Have relevant competence in the areas of computer vision. Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, data science, AI, or related fields. Knowledge of visual generation and multimodal LLM will be advantageous. Key Competencies Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python and C++), and familiarity with AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch). Self-directed learner who believes in continuous learning and development. Proficient in technical writing and presentation. Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Show strong initiative and take ownership of work.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Change Manager, who will play a pivotal role in driving and embedding change across the programme. About the Role As Change Manager you will lead the development and delivery of the programme’s change management approach, supporting the successful implementation of transformation activities across Professional Services. Working closely with the Programme Leads, Programme Manager, Programme Communications Lead, workstream leads and stakeholders across the University, you will ensure that change is effectively planned, communicated and embedded. You will be responsible for assessing the impact of change, developing and delivering change plans, and supporting colleagues to adopt new ways of working. You will also work closely with communications colleagues and workstream teams to ensure alignment between delivery activity and change interventions. This is a high-impact role where you will shape how change is experienced across the organisation, helping to build buy-in, minimise resistance and ensure that programme benefits are realised. About You You will be an experienced change professional with demonstrable success in delivering organisational change in complex environments. You will have a strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies, and experience of applying these in practice to support large-scale transformation programmes. You will bring excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships, challenge constructively and support leaders and colleagues through change. Professor Ying Weng is seeking to recruit an Assistant Research Fellow in Artificial Intelligence (outsourced) to join the research project team in School of Computer Science at University of Nottingham Ningbo China. Your Responsibilities: The successful candidate will have specific responsibility for Professor Ying Weng’s research project in Artificial Intelligence. The person appointed will be expected to conduct work using approaches or methodologies and techniques appropriate to the type of research, and will be responsible for writing up their work for publication. The successful appointee will have the opportunity to use their initiative and creativity to develop research methods and extend their research portfolio.
