Markéta Pernisová, Ph.D., as part of the TowArds Next GENeration Crops (TANGENC) project, which focuses on novel breeding techniques for crop improvement. The research will primarily investigate the hormonal regulation of plant in vitro regeneration and shoot development. Additionally, the researcher will participate in the development of molecular tools and protocols for genome editing, transformation, and plant regeneration. Developing and improving plant genetic engineering resources - such as transgenics and genome editing - requires the collaborative efforts of multiple groups with complementary expertise. Our team members have extensive experience managing research projects and teams, maintaining international collaborations, and publishing in high-impact scientific journals. They should be highly competent in bulk RNA-seq and single-cell data analysis, and able to work independently and in a team. The appointee is expected to play an important role in the team on molecular mechanisms of protective immune responses during HIV infection or cancer immunotherapy. He/She will perform multiple types of sequencing data analysis and develop analytical tools in the field of immunology.
