Universidad Tecnologica Empresarial de Guayaquil

Universidad Tecnológica Empresarial de Guayaquil was founded in 2000 following the growth of the Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Comercio (INTESCO), which had been founded in 1995 by Guayaquil Chamber of Commerce and formalised through national legislation. 

The university was designed to provide third-level education with a strong emphasis on business and professional development. 

The university is located in Guayaquil, Ecuador’s largest city and main port, home to the top access point for Galapagos cruises. 

It offers a broad range of both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across disciplines such as business administration, finance, marketing, engineering, information technology, and social sciences. Programmes are delivered through flexible formats, including on campus, online, and hybrid study modes. 

Since it was established, it has established partnerships with other higher education institutions across the globe such as the Miami Business Technological University (MBTU) to facilitate academic collaboration and student exchange programmes.
