Named after Arturo Jauretche, a 20th-century writer, politician and philosopher, Universidad Nacional Arturo Jauretche was founded in 2009. Its first students were admitted in 2011.

The university’s degrees come under three academic institutes: the institute of engineering and agronomy; the institute of health sciences; and the institute of social sciences and administration.

The demographics of UNAJ students are distinctive: the vast majority are first-generation students. Almost half of all students are more than 24 years old.

The four-acre urban campus is located in the province of Buenos Aires. This includes sports grounds and sports clubs, as well as venues for cultural activities. UNAJ has its own media group, which includes an FM radio station, a digital magazine and web TV.

Your personal sphere of influence: As a university assistant Prae Doc, you will complete the research team around Prof. Annette Rompel, at the Department of Biophysical Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry. The focus of our research is purification,expession and characterisation of a metalloprotein. The employment duration is 3 years. About the role - Mō tēnei tūranga mahi The School of Agriculture and Environment, Massey University, is seeking applicants for a position in the Animal Science group as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Animal Genetics and Breeding. The purpose of this position is to provide learning and qualification outcomes for Massey students in Animal and Agricultural Science and to contribute to the scholarly outputs of the University through undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and the supervision of postgraduate students in animal genetics and breeding. The role also requires the development of an active research programme, engagement in the successful pursuit of external research funding, and interaction with industry. This is a full-time, permanent position based on the Manawatū campus in Palmerston North. About you - Mōu A PhD in Animal Science, specifically in genetics or a related area, is essential. Description The Water Research Center at New York University Abu Dhabi seeks to recruit a Post-Doctoral Associate to develop calix[n]arene-based covalent organic frameworks for water purification, under the supervision of Professor Ali Trabolsi, Professor of Chemistry and co-PI at the Water Research Center. The successful candidate will develop new calix[n]arene-based covalent organic frameworks for water purification applications. To explore this area of macrocycle-based porous frameworks for water contaminant removal, the candidate will be involved in the directed synthesis of organic macrocycle containing linkers and porous frameworks and then investigate the supramolecular interactions with various organic pollutants. This would require knowledge in the design and synthesis of porous frameworks, particularly in techniques such as Schlenk line, glove box, powder X-ray diffraction, electron diffraction, electron microscopy, and porosity analysis. The candidate is expected to have a thorough understanding of the analytical techniques used to characterize the materials. Experience in the application of such materials to water treatment is preferred. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD scientists, graduate students, and undergraduate students. Applicants must have a PhD in chemistry or materials science.  Excellent experimental and synthetic skills relevant to the project (particularly, synthesis of covalent organic frameworks) are required.
