The university’s degrees come under three academic institutes: the institute of engineering and agronomy; the institute of health sciences; and the institute of social sciences and administration.
The demographics of UNAJ students are distinctive: the vast majority are first-generation students. Almost half of all students are more than 24 years old.
The four-acre urban campus is located in the province of Buenos Aires. This includes sports grounds and sports clubs, as well as venues for cultural activities. UNAJ has its own media group, which includes an FM radio station, a digital magazine and web TV.

Call for Proposals: Two Postdoctoral Positions in Quantum Technology The Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture has announced additional support for national doctoral education pilot in quantum technology (QDOC) aimed at postdoc recruitments. The focus is on supporting the training and supervision of the 90 doctoral students who are currently enrolled under QDOC across Finland. QDOC team invites applications for two postdoctoral positions that combines research with the development and delivery of a course or training module aimed at QDOC students nationally. The duration for each position is one year, with the possibility of extension for an additional year. While the positions are formally hosted at Aalto University, the employee may, at their own discretion, pursue a visitor agreement with a QDOC host university, subject to agreement by Aalto University and the host university of the visit. Your role and goals The postdoc must develop and deliver a course or training activity equivalent to 5 ECTS credits, targeted at QDOC students nationally, during the funding period. The Pilbara’s mineral wealth is crucial to Australia’s economy, yet there is no heritage conservation strategy to protect this region’s cultural assets. This collaboration with Aboriginal Traditional Owners will reform policy and lead to improved conservation of heritage places of global significance. About the opportunity Make a significant contribution to understanding diachronic and synchronic symbolic behaviours at the national level. Key responsibilities include synthesis of background literature, participation in the schedule of fieldwork with 12 native title groups with a focus on rock art documentation, mobilise research content as part of the research team and develop stand-alone and collaborative research outputs around materiality and style, pigment recipes and dating. A strong track record of excellence in research at a national level evidenced by a series of peer-reviewed journal articles published in high quality journals. Experience with FileMaker and Fulcrum data collection software and Adobe Lightroom for processing of photographic imagery collected during fieldwork.
