The university has nine faculties including business administration, law, engineering, international studies, economics, education, criminology, psychology and communication. The university offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The Loyola University has three campuses that are located in Cordoba, Granada and Seville. There are a range of centres where students can take part in extracurricular activities including the music centre, art centre and film and photography centre. Students can also join sports teams.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with academics and professional services to design, develop, and enhance teaching, learning and assessment materials that are inclusive, equitable and accessible. You will help embed inclusive curriculum principles across LJMU, integrating digital and pedagogical practices that support success for all students.  As a Learning Designer (Inclusive Curriculum), you will support programme teams to create teaching, learning and assessment materials that reflect diverse perspectives, promote equitable outcomes, and translate complex subject matter into accessible and engaging formats. Working with the Dean of the Teaching and Learning Academy and others you will help drive and evaluate the implementation of an institution-wide inclusive curriculum and assessment approach through consultation, resource development, and engagement with students and staff. The role will also involve horizon scanning across the sector and beyond for emerging trends in inclusive education, learning design, and educational technology, sharing insights to inform LJMU strategy. You will be experienced in designing and delivering inclusive, accessible, learner centred experiences in higher education, with a strong understanding of learning theories, inclusive curriculum design, equity focused pedagogy, and digital learning. You will have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills and can manage multiple projects independently and work effectively across teams. The Lawyer, Intellectual Property, Research and Commercial Law will provide clear, practical and timely legal advice to primarily support the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) and the Research Portfolio progress the University's research and commercialisation activities. Working closely with stakeholders across the Research Portfolio-including Pre-Award and Pipeline, Post-Award (Grants and Contracts), Clinical Trial Contracts, Commercialisation and Investments-the successful candidate will manage and support senior lawyers with a diverse range of matters involving the review, drafting and negotiation of research and commercial agreements, support for strategic projects, commercialisation initiatives, and other legal issues as they arise. All work will be undertaken with a commercial and strategic mindset, aligned with OGC's Purpose and Strategy. The Lawyer, Intellectual Property, Research and Commercial Law will work under the direction and support of a Senior Lawyer in the Intellectual Property, Research and Commercial Law Team, and will collaborate closely with senior colleagues across the Team and the wider OGC, including the Director, Intellectual Property, Research and Commercial Law and the General Counsel.
