The Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM) is one of the fastest growing private universities in Spain, with over 16,000 students. Located just minutes from the city center, mountains, and train station, our campus provides students a pure Spanish experience and the opportunity to explore all of Europe and northern Africa. Founded in 1996, our mission is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to serve society and to contribute to the further expansion of human knowledge through research as an integral part of the development of man and mankind.

Global learning

With a strong international focus, students have the opportunity to develop a global perspective thanks to the joint programs, collaborations, and exchange agreements with more than 150 universities all over the world, including UC Berkeley, Stanford, Università di Bologna, National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and PUC - Rio Grande do Sul. UCAM also has centers in Cuba, Jakarta, Singapore, and Brussels which work together to further develop the university’s international identity.

Elite athletics

UCAM is hailed the Champion of University Competitions for the third consecutive year, with 112 medals (74 gold). Among UCAM’s top athletes are Olympic medalists like Mireia Belmonte and David Cal and World Champions such as Melanie Costa. The 21 federated teams sponsored and managed by UCAM include UCAM Murcia CB, a professional basketball team competing in the ACB Liga Endesa. UCAM's sports facilities are led by the UCAM Sports Center, a high-tech gym accessible to both university students and local communities.
