UNIR – International University of La Rioja

The International University of La Rioja is part of Grupo PROEDUCA which offer distance online education for students to attend classes anywhere and at any time. This policy offers higher education to those who cannot access face-to-face learning for various reasons.

More than 200 degree programmes are offered to students at the International University of La Rioja, including: education, law, political science and international relations, security sciences, business, marketing and communication, engineering and technology, design, health sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities and music.

At the International University of La Rioja, there is no physical campus as their entire educational offering is online. Students can either attend their classes live or watch them in their own time. Although students will do the majority of their studying online, their final exam can be taken in-person or online at different exam venues across Spain.

Part of a student's PROEDUCA experience is the personal tutor students receive on the first day. This tutor will be contactable throughout the entire degree for support, organisation, resources, and to monitor success.

Another distinct feature of PROEDUCA learning is impact learning which aims to improve students’ employability. For students aged 25 or younger, impact learning becomes an additional specialisation to their official degree programme and helps connect students with business through project-based training, soft skills, team work and professional environment experience.
