Uman National University is a public higher education institution located in Uman, Ukraine. Its origins date back to 1844 with the establishment of the Main School of Gardening.
The institution developed over time into a modern university with a strong focus on agriculture, horticulture, forestry and applied biological sciences. 
It operates across six faculties covering agronomy, horticulture and viticulture, forestry and landscape management, engineering and technology, economics and entrepreneurship, management, ecology and plant protection.
The university has extensive agricultural infrastructure, including orchards, greenhouses, experimental fields and forestry areas covering more than one thousand hectares. These facilities are used for teaching, research and applied agricultural development.
It serves approximately 6,000 students and employs several hundred academic staff, including professors and associate professors. Over its history, it has trained more than 40,000 specialists, including researchers and public sector professionals.
Its research activity covers plant biology, sustainable agriculture, agricultural economics, biotechnology and environmental management. It operates specialised academic councils for thesis defence and publishes scientific journals and conference proceedings.
The university maintains partnerships with institutions in Poland, France, Germany, Denmark, the United States, the Czech Republic and other countries, supporting academic exchange and joint research.

Role Description

London Cranfield Airport is a commercial, research and general aviation (GA) airport situated between Bedford and Milton Keynes, and is home to several companies which provide commercial flight training, maintenance, and research and testing for industry and government projects.

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an Air Traffic Control Assistant (ATCA) to join a busy team that performs a safety critical function in providing Air Traffic Services to all airport and local airspace users. In particular this individual will assist the Air Traffic Control Officer in undertaking the following duties: 


	Maintaining data displays in accordance with published procedures
	Alerting the emergency services in accordance with published procedures
	Accepting booking out details from pilots and prepare flight progress strips in accordance with local procedures
	Psuedo piloting and exercise creation on our Tower and Radar Simulators
	Maintaining and amending aeronautical documents and publications (as required)
	Liaising with local agencies as required
	Maintain a log of movements and record statistics as required
	Undertake tasks associated with the Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP) Safety, Quality, and Security Management systems as directed in order to comply with regulatory requirements.


Training will be provided; however, to be successful in this post you will need to demonstrate that you are flexible, resilient and able to produce work that is accurate in a timely manner in what can be a demanding environment. It is essential that you are able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing, and that you can provide an efficient, professional service to our clients. In additional will need to feel confident in your ability to use Word and Excel and to work as part of a small motivated team.

You should be passionate about teaching Psychology in Higher Education and demonstrate an appreciation of the varied and applied nature of psychological theory in real‑world contexts. The University is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences (FHMS) as a Senior Impact Officer, supporting our university ambition to translate high quality research to real world impact and societal benefit. In this role, you will be based within the FHMS Faculty Research and Innovation Office (FRIO) on our Manor Park campus. You will play a key part in the preparing our route to success for REF 2029 in addition to our ongoing Impact activities. You will work closely with our academics, researchers and professional services colleagues, building strong relationships and really getting to know our research.

The role

Our Senior Impact Officers play a proactive role in facilitating and coordinating impact activity, being the first point of contact and galvanising the network of impact support across the university and beyond. In the role, you will confidently use your strong interpersonal and communication skills to stimulate discussion and share best practice around routes to impact and real world benefit. You will support the generation of impact case studies for future research assessment exercises and external audiences.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside a broad range of academics and other research users to capture, evaluate and communicate research impact, allowing us to better understand and navigate the complexities of how research can impact end users in a whole range of fields. You’ll have the freedom and autonomy to take a proactive approach to problem solving using your initiative, experience, and judgement whilst being supported within the Research, Innovation and Impact directorate by your counterparts and colleagues.

About you

To be successful in the role, you’ll need strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with excellent project/organisational skills. Ideally, you will be familiar with, or will have experience working in, a research or knowledge exchange environment. You will also have an understanding of impact within the higher education sector.

This role will work closely with our academics, so you will need to be able to understand complex and specialised information and be able to communicate this to non-specialists. Visibility and communication and delivery are key to the success of this role. You will enjoy working autonomously and will relish the opportunity to really make your mark on our impact outcomes at the University. The ideal candidate will also have experience of the research excellence framework (REF).
