Level B you will need  Demonstrated research ability that supports the School's research strengths in experimental, design, and numerical modelling of next-generation aerospace. technologies, fluid processes in aerospace applications and clean energy processes. Record of research achievements as evidenced by publications in high-quality refereed journals or conference proceedings. Demonstrated ability to teach effectively using evidence-based pedagogy that promotes student engagement. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English with both students and staff. Ability to carry out administrative duties, as directed by the Head of School, effectively and efficiently.  Level C you will need Substantial record of research achievements as evidenced by publications in high-quality refereed journals or conference proceedings. Your personal sphere of influence: As university assistant (pre-doc) you will join Prof. Paola Ayala's research group. Within this 4-year position, you will be immersed in cutting-edge materials science research. The group has a traditionally strong focus on hybrid carbon nanostructured materials, but you will also explore transition metal-dichalcogenide based systems, which are among the most exciting materials currently studied. Your work will span the full spectrum of materials research, from synthesis to advanced characterization, giving you comprehensive hands-on experience with state-of-the-art instrumentation including Raman and Fluorescence Spectroscopy, Scanning Probe Microscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy, and Photoemission systems.
