Founded in 1992, Turan University stands as one of Kazakhstan's leading non-state educational institutions, located in Almaty. It offers a diverse range of programmes, catering to a wide spectrum of academic pursuits.
Turan University's educational system encompasses various faculties, including humanities and law, economics, and the academy of film and television. Students can pursue a complete educational journey from lyceum to doctoral programmes, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.
The university boasts an extensive campus, spanning 35,000 m², with a seven-story main building housing administrative offices and faculties. Additionally, the campus features sports facilities, including football pitches and sports halls, as well as a dormitory for student accommodation.
Turan University takes pride in its faculty, comprising 361 full-time teachers. This includes 55 doctors of science and professors, 215 candidates of science and associate professors, and 1 Ph.D. doctor. The institution also collaborates with more than 49 practitioners, scientists, and educators, enriching the educational experience.
Turan University is part of the broader Educational Corporation "Turan," offering a continuum of education. This includes two universities, three colleges, and a lyceum, ensuring a seamless educational journey for all students.
