Preference will be given to candidates with: A proven track record in public health practice, including advisory roles in government or professional bodies; Experience in leading large-scale research projects (e.g., epidemiological studies, clinical trials, or community-based interventions); Administrative leadership in academic institutions, healthcare organizations, or professional colleges. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will: Contribute to teaching and curriculum development in undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MPH) programmes; Lead or support high-impact research in public health, infectious diseases, or preventive medicine; Engage in knowledge exchange, policy advisory roles, and national/international collaborations; Play a strategic role in departmental or faculty-wide initiatives, including accreditation, interdisciplinary research, and public health training programmes. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
