Applications are now invited for the following posts: Associate Professor/Assistant Professor Division of Artificial Intelligence (Post Ref.: 25/72) The Division is looking for an experienced Associate Professor/Assistant Professor who will (1) conduct high-quality research in the state-of-the-art areas in artificial intelligence, natural language processing, large language models, and computer vision; (2) secure external competitive research grants in various funding bodies; (3) teach multiple subjects in both undergraduate-level and postgraduate-level programs in data science areas focusing on industrial data sciences, blockchain, data sciences, artificial intelligence, etc.; (4) work on the promotions and admissions as well as the operations for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and (5) contribute to other administrative duties as required by the supervisors. General Requirements Candidates should have (i) a doctoral degree in a relevant data science, computer science, artificial intelligence, information engineering, or other relevant areas; (ii) a strong publication record and outstanding citation counts in the research areas; (iii) experience in applying external grants and teaching relevant courses and relevant programme administrative experience will be advantages; (iv) good command of English and Chinese (including Mandarin). For the post of Associate Professor, six years of relevant experience in the tenure-track academic post should be required. It will synergise resources and expertise in the Mainland and Hong Kong to strengthen research on salient issues related to the economic and financial development of the two places. It will also provide research consultancy on industry and economic policies, in addition to offering policy advice to the authorities to foster mutual prosperity of the Mainland and Hong Kong. Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible for providing clinical supervision and teaching of students in the Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology programme. Essential Requirements Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above, a recognized professional qualification in Speech Therapy, and at least 5 years’ post-qualification clinical experience as a speech therapist. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese) as well as good communication and interpersonal skills.  Desirable Attributes Preference will be given to those who have strong experience working in pediatric/adult speech, language, and communication disorders with experience and interest in clinical education; and work or clinical supervision experience in hospital settings and/or non-local clinical settings.
