Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will play a key role in a large-scale, mental health, and well-being project for primary schools in Hong Kong, under the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences. The appointee will be responsible for the professional oversight and strategic implementation of the project, requiring specialised knowledge and independent professional judgement, with major tasks including: Devising and implementing a mindfulness-based social-emotional curriculum for primary school students, as well as the corresponding train-the-trainer curriculum for primary school educators Developing and implementing a mindfulness-based positive parenting programme for parents Providing consultation and ongoing professional support to educators and parents to promote students’ well-being Organising and delivering training sessions and workshops for educators, parents, and students Planning and implementing public education initiatives Preparing research reports and non-technical documents Performing any other duties as assigned Requirements The appointment (Investigator / Research Officer) will be offered based on the qualifications and experience of the applicant.
