Working closely with the Industry Development Manager, this role plays a key part in facilitating employment outcomes for University of Sydney students by coordinating employer-facing services, maintaining high-quality administrative processes, and supporting key industry events. Your key responsibilities will be to: work closely with the Industry Development Manager to deliver services to employers engaging with the University manage and maintain employer and job databases to ensure information is accurate and efficiently captured coordinate a range of administrative processes to support smooth workflow and consistent service delivery liaise with industry partners to understand recruitment needs and promote relevant Careers Centre events and services provide frontline customer service, responding to employer enquiries via email, phone and in person in a timely and professional manner assist in coordinating careers fairs, employer presentations and other promotional activities. About you demonstrated experience providing high-level customer service in a busy, administrative environment experience in database entry, website maintenance or CRM systems strong computer literacy, including Word, Excel, Outlook and content management systems ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate work under time pressure knowledge of graduate recruitment practices or interest in the higher education sector tertiary qualifications in a relevant area, or equivalent relevant experience. Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will support the research and implementation of a large-scale mental health and well-being project for primary schools in Hong Kong under the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences. Major tasks include: Assisting in the design and development of research studies and evaluation frameworks. Supporting the implementation of research activities and programme evaluation. Collecting and analysing data under supervision. Preparing technical research reports. Coordinating research interns. Performing administrative tasks in support of the research-cum-intervention project. Any other duties as assigned.  Requirements The appointment (Post-doctoral Fellow / Senior Research Assistant) will be offered based on the qualifications and experience of the appointee: For the Post-doctoral Fellow post, applicants should have a Ph.D. degree or an equivalent qualification in Psychology, Social Sciences or a related discipline. For the Senior Research Assistant post, applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Sciences or a related discipline plus 3 years’ research experience since the award of the first degree; or a research Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Sciences or a related discipline plus 1 year’s post-qualification research experience.  The appointee should possess: A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Strong research skills in Psychology or Social Sciences. Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Jamovi, or R), as well as MS Excel and Chinese typing. Experience in the implementation of community or educational research projects will be an advantage.  What We Offer The appointment will commence in September 2026, on a two-year fixed-term basis for the Senior Research Assistant, and on a two-year temporary term for the Post-doctoral Fellow, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. The role Join our Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences as a Health Partnerships Manager, taking senior professional services leadership responsibility for the University’s NHS education contracts and external health partnerships. Reporting to the Associate Director (Business Operations), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the Faculty’s external relationships are strategically managed, contractually compliant, and positioned for growth. You will take strategic ownership of the NHS Education contract, ensuring full compliance with all contractual, regulatory, quality, and reporting requirements. Working with confidence at a senior level, you will conduct high-level negotiations with NHS commissioning bodies and Trust Education Leads, proactively identifying opportunities to develop new business across an extended regional locality in line with workforce planning priorities and Faculty strategy. More broadly, you will lead on Faculty strategic initiatives, represent the Faculty at a senior level on committees and working groups, and chair or support internal and external stakeholder forums as required. About you The successful candidate will be a senior professional services leader with a proven track record of managing complex stakeholder relationships and delivering strategic objectives in a demanding environment. You will bring demonstrable experience of strategic planning, project and programme management, and people management, alongside a sound understanding of financial management principles in a devolved setting.  You will be confident and authoritative in your dealings with external partners, with the negotiation and influencing skills necessary to build and sustain productive relationships with NHS commissioning bodies, Trust Education Leads, and other senior stakeholders.
